Jean Brillman began White Horse Coffee Roasters in 2017 as a mobile coffee truck, opening a brick and mortar location with her husband the very next year. With a vision of environmental sustainability, Jean started roasting her own coffee on a Bellwether in 2021. Within 6 months the business had grown so much that they expanded into an additional location that today houses the White Horse roastery and sustainable marketplace.
Today Jean’s focus on growth has allowed her to also build a burgeoning wholesale roasted coffee business focused on local retailers, coffee shops, cafe/restaurants, and farmers markets. Jean provides not only sustainably roasted, organic coffee, she also works with her wholesale partners on start‑up guidance, training, distribution connections, brewing/roasting knowledge and more.
